Lots of hope and new beginnings. I finished my vaccination training and revelled in being in a room full of strangers doing new tasks. It snowed! I cooked a lot - a lot a lot - including some complex bakes that I was proud of; I went for walks and cycles. I sent off dark room prints, fine art prints, postcards and letters across the world. I did some interesting work and volunteering, and spring arrived.

favourite book: Folk by Zoe Gilbert, a series of witchy vignettes from the Isle of Mann sent to me by a pal
favourite television: The Undoing, because a psychological thriller set in New York featuring Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant is all I want in life
favourite podcast: Resistance from Gimlet Media, really brilliant stories from the front line of the movement for Black lives
favourite art: discovering Czech photographer Josef Sudek
favourite theatre: Tron Theatre’s audio dramas Earwig
