Hello, I’m Alex.
I’m interested in The Digital and how we live and work within it, and I also take pictures.
I currently lead communications for public policy at the UK's national research institute for data science and artificial intelligence, and have nearly a decade of cross-sector experience in strategic comms, media, content and audiences. I also do research in digital anthropology, and this year was awarded a distinction in my MSc at UCL with a dissertation on a pilot community data trust.
My photographs have been featured online, in print and on the Big Screen. I’m particularly interested in author portraits, 35mm editorial commissions, and intersections of photography and ethnographic research.
