Hello, I’m Alex. I work in strategy, comms, policy and research, with a focus on digital society and emerging technologies. I have nearly a decade of cross-sector experience, including at the UK’s national research institute into data science and AI, international NGOs and charities, and arts and community organisations.

I hold an MSc in Digital Anthropology from University College London and an MA in Modern History from the University of Oxford, and my research interests centre around participatory data stewardship.

My photographs have been published online, in print, and in feature films. I shoot on digital and 35mm, and currently focus on author portraits which you can find across tens of thousands of hardbacks in the UK and abroad.
